Happy National Nurses Week!

May 6 kicked off National Nurses Week, an annual event highlighting the important role that nurses play in society. In celebration of National Nurses Day and the start of Nurses Week, University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences (USAHS) President Dr. Divina Grossman was live on “Good Morning San Diego” discussing the rewarding career of nursing and the critical need for nurses. Dr. Grossman started her career as a nurse and served as a long-time nurse educator prior to becoming a leader in higher education and being appointed president and chief academic officer at USAHS. It was a pleasure to be at the KUSI studios for this live interview.

Congrats to the Spring 2018 graduates

This is my video story from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences Spring 2018 commencement ceremony for the San Marcos campus held on Friday, April 20, at the California Center for the Arts in Escondido. Surrounded by hundreds of family, friends, faculty and supporters, students celebrated their academic achievements at the formal ceremony with caps, gowns, tassels and even a few tears. Diplomas were awarded to nearly 100 San Marcos students who also received their new academic hoods for their ceremonial regalia.
