‘CBS Sunday Morning With Charles Osgood’ was the #1 Sunday morning news program in adults 25-54, viewers and households for the 2012-2013 television season, most current, according to Nielsen. ‘CBS Sunday Morning’ posted its best season delivery in adults 25-54 since 2009-2010, in viewers since 1992-1993 and in households since 1993-1994.
For the season, most current, ‘CBS Sunday Morning’ was up +7% in adults 25-54 (1.5/07 from 1.4/07) – the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news – up +8% in viewers (5.67m from 5.27m) and up +8% in households (4.0/11 from 3.7/10) compared to last year.
In the May 2013 Sweep, ‘CBS Sunday Morning’ was the #1 Sunday morning news program in adults 25-54, viewers and households, according to Nielsen. During the Sweep, ‘CBS Sunday Morning’ averaged a 3.8/11 with 5.57m viewers and a 1.5/07 in adults 25-54. CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted its best May Sweep delivery in in adults 25-54 since 2007, posted its best viewers delivery since the advent of people meters (1987) and posted its best delivery in households since 1994. Compared to last May, ‘CBS Sunday Morning’ was up +15% in adults 25-54 (from 1.3/07), +14% in viewers (from 4.91m), and up +9% in households (from 3.5/10).
