Disco Scottsdale Debuts This Weekend

Disco Scottsdale

Disco Scottsdale, a post-modern interpretation of the discotheque, opens Friday, June 4th at 10p.m.

Potential Entertainment, a company that specializes in the development and operation of unique entertainment concepts throughout the world, has unveiled details of its latest project; Disco Scottsdale will open to the public on Friday, June 4 at 10:00 p.m.  The company has renovated the space located at 4301 N. Civic Center Plaza to create a stunning, world-class venue.  In addition to a total overhaul of the building, Disco Scottsdale features a custom 10’ by 20’ interactive LED dance floor, state-of-the-art digital audio visual systems, custom seating, dance poles, balcony, two bars, huge patios and a massive disco ball.

“More than just a creating a new nightclub out of an under-utilized space, we have reimagined, reengineered and remixed the disco concept to create something you won’t find any other place in the country,” said Disco General Manager John Nemeth.  “We view it as a post-modern interpretation of disco; our goal is to bring back the ‘experience’ of the classic discotheque, with attention to every detail, phenomenal service and high energy entertainment with the latest technology and programming.”

“The dance floor is pretty amazing,” Nemeth added. “You know that old phrase ‘light up the dance floor?’ Well here you literally can – the dance floor has sensors that respond to your feet with digital lighting and images.”

Nemeth says guests at Disco Scottsdale will enjoy a fun, upbeat sound that will be a mix of classic disco, pop music mashups and remixes from the 70’s to now, including funk dance and classic party rockers, and original mixes from DJ Steele, the club’s resident entertainer. Video-based media will be seamlessly integrated into the entertainment programming at Disco Scottsdale through large projection screens and the LED dance floor to present a unique show.

Disco Scottsdale will be open three nights a week with special themes for each evening, providing a unique experience based on what night you visit:

  • Friday: “Sexy as Funk”
  • Saturday: “Love Bite”
  • Tuesday: “Absolutely Fabulous”

Doors open at 10:00 p.m. on all nights and valet parking is available.  Bottle service is also available with reserved seating around the dance floor, as well as a private V.I.P. area that can be reserved in advance by calling 480-818-4003.  Disco Scottsdale does not have an established dress code, but guests should come dressed to impress if they expect to enter.  Become a fan of Disco Scottsdale on Facebook for VIP and special event information http://facebook.com/discoscottsdale
